The 16th I-café webinar

The 16th  I-café webinar will be held on 8.10.2024 (Tuesday) from 2 pm to 3:30 pm Helsinki time (7pm to 8:30pm Beijing time). The topic of the webinar is “Social Technology for Eldercare: A Methodological Approach”, and the speaker is Professor Hongtu Chen, Co-Director of the Social Technology for Global Aging Research Initiative at Harvard and Senior Research Scientist at Harvard Medical School. In this session, Dr. Chen will introduce the Social Technology Approach as a research framework that the Aging Research Initiative developed, to address the complexities of integrating technological innovations in eldercare. His presentation will outline the core principles of this methodology and demonstrates its application in addressing key questions in aging and technology research.
